Hmmm.....

Just a thought--if Luke Skywalker is the "Christ" figure, the Senator or Chancellor guy is the "Satan" figure, and the force is the "God" figure, would Yoda be the "Holy Spirit" figure?

HAHA!! Ugo is soooo not a star wars dude. But he could pull off Mace Windu... I would have to day that metaphorically speaking, If Luke be Jesus, His father being Anakin AKA Vader, the religious similarities end there. If You really want to look at it, Obi Wan who was killed in the 4th movie, would be more the holy spirit character, in that he appears later only as a spirit. The Emperor is clearly Satan, with Vader as his evil doer...Luke could be a Christ figure being that he does wind up winning in the end. I dunno. Kinda hard to connect. Love you. Den

Through Luke not turning to the Dark Side, the evil reign was broken, and by Luke being willing to sacrifice his own life for the cause, he saved his father--brought him out of darkness. This points to what Jesus did for us.

I was thinking that either Yoda or Obi Wan would be like the Holy Spirit--guiding them (the Jedi's) in all truth.
